Dr. Shaunta Scroggins is an adult educator, leader and curriculum developer, toxic leadership researcher, author, and consultant. A gifted and formally trained adult educator, she is passionate about “livable learning” that is relevant and immediately functional after the instructional period.
Dr. Shaunta is the founder of the Center for Legacy Driven Leadership (CLDL), a training hub providing the tools for sustainable leadership to individuals, organizations, and corporations. CLDL's training and development programs, grounded in leadership theory, prepare leaders for succession opportunities and assist companies and organizations with implementing succession plans in-house.
Dr. Shaunta's research interest is primarily toxic leadership and associated behaviors, with a view to bridging to transformational leadership practice. Offering toxic leadership awareness is neither accusatory nor inflammatory, Dr. Shaunta presents materials through the prism of transformational leadership to outline strategic organizational change.
Dr. Shaunta holds a B.A in International Business from Dillard University, a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Curriculum and Instruction from Regent University, and an earned doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University.
